Audra Bennett (Bac. Soc. Sc. Hons. Criminology; Bac. Soc. Sc. Sociology; LL.B.)

“The court experience is like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book. You never know where you will end up or how long your story will be; it is up to you and the choices you make. I believe you should remember that you create your own ending. Most importantly, who you are today is not who you were yesterday and not who you will be tomorrow.”

Audra Bennett articled with an Ottawa law firm and focused her experience in the area of family law. Upon being called to the Bar, she worked as legal counsel for the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa for about a year and a half. After leaving the Society, Audra worked as Legal Counsel in a small Ottawa law firm practicing in family law. She soon realized she could receive better personal satisfaction by merging both her child protection and family law experiences.

In August 2008, Ms. Bennett opened her own law firm practicing only in these areas of law as she believed that her clients could be better served by legal counsel who is able to understand key elements of an area of law instead of knowing a little about many areas of law. She conducts her work with a keen interest in the families and their best interests.

Audra Bennett is a current member in good standing with:
